To promote our five-year higher vocational specialty construction and course reform, further improve the quality of teaching, a work seminar of the central group of teaching and research of Specialties as accounting, electromechanical integration, business English, and customs declaration and international freight was held in Nanjing from June 3 to June 4.The meeting was chaired by Mao Xueliang, the deputy director of the academic affairs department. Members of the central group from the provincial college and each college points attended this seminar. Qian Qi, dean of academic affairs department attended the meeting and made an important speech.
On the afternoon of June 3, Mao Xueliang, the deputy director of the academic affairs department, firstly put forward general requirements on the modification of talent cultivation plan and adjustments on technique certificates. Meanwhile, he proposed constructive ideas on plans and schedules of central group. The seminar also invited Wang Kangzhan, manager of Culture Online Corporation, to give a lecture on Hybrid Teaching Mode Course Construction based on SPOC, which has given new ideas for further course construction.
In the following group discussion, participants had heated discussion centering on talent cultivating plan of their own specialties, modification of technique certificates and the working plan, goal, running flow and activity plans as well of central group. Finally, they have achieved the preliminary plan.
On the morning of June 4, contract awarding ceremony of the central group was firstly held. Then, each central group respectively discuss the preliminary plan. Each leader made concluding reports from aspects of modification of talent cultivation plan, working plan of committee group, plans of teaching competition and plans and suggestion of course construction, etc.
Finally, Qian Qi, dean of academic affairs department, made a conclusion from 3 aspects as specialty construction, developing direction of specialty and cultivation of application ability.
